Nothing in stimulus for Tampa, St. Pete==>CITIZEN RESPONSE, NO MORE TAXES, OR CARS, OR YOUR LIES

Original Times Article
Great Article, Thanks Charlie
This is clearly another big "BOONDOGGLE" that those wealthy cronies are exploiting their paid Puppets in Congress to Make their Firms Richer.

No Help for Tampa, St Pete, or Clearwater when our business and operations is ALL about Tourists and Traffic. . . Their Stay-at-home orders mean nothing to the rich wall street cronies and schools. . . Those students will often DO BETTER at home with Mom and Dad teaching instead of some packaged corporate crap anyway. . .

But 2.4 million for Flint Michigan The following is a list of Flint's leading employers:
  • General Motors
  • Genesys Health System
  • McLaren Medical Center
  • Hurley Medical Center
  • Genesee County
  • City of Flint
  • Meijers
  • Citizens Bank
  • Flint Community Schools
  • Delphi
  • Baker College
  • A I Flint, LLC
  • Genesee Intermediate School District
  • Charles Stewart Mott Community College
  • Miller Apple LTD Partnership
  • Carman Ainsworth Community Schools
  • Beecher Community Schools
Bankers, and school will all do better from home. Manufacturing is all robots and digital with people in safety masks and suits anyway.  NO TRAFFIC, NO TOURISTS is likely better for the rich schools and banks as well. BUT NOT for FLORIDA. . .

Maybe Tampa, St Pete, and Clearwater should respond with a Moratorium on All Federal taxes. Sorry, we have to deal with our own first. . . no more taxes to the Fed's from Florida. . . I wonder what those rich cronies will think then?

Thanks again for the Great Work, and THANK GOD, for the TIMES online, and you should consider Crowd Funding with no more advertisements, you might find how much you are LOVED and be able to double your Print Pages with this!

God Bless,
eric;-)

Give me a free account, and I will Beta-Test anything you are building. . .  Step you-out far ahead of everyone! ... see my skill base, and career level... now read it to see how much was really CHANGING SOFTWARE ENGINEERING FOR PEOPLE!!!

Eric, new month, new opportunities - I'd love to pick your brain about our Virtual Advisory Board program and review whether your background may align with opportunities through our platform.

Can we find 10-minutes to catch up today or early next week?
Looking forward to it,
Megan

Eric, have you had a chance to reconsider taking advantage of advisory work this year?

The current business climate is a perfect opportunity to extend your expertise and professional accolades, while helping companies seeking out-of-the-box advice.
Virtual advisory boards and remote advisory work can all be done on your schedule, and from the convenience of a home office.
Can we take 10-minutes to review some of the open opportunities on AdvisoryCloud, and how your background might align with remote advisory work immediately available?
Warm regards,
Megan

Garden Steps project: making stone soup | Plan Hillsborough

Garden Steps project: making stone soup | Plan Hillsborough

February 2020 – On January 28, County Commission Chair Lesley J. “Les” Miller Jr. was joined by Tampa Mayor Jane Castor and Tampa Councilman Orlando Gudes in celebrating the kick-off of the Garden Steps project, funded by a grant from the Aetna Foundation and American Public Health Association.
Led by the MPO and Coalition of Community Gardens, the Garden Steps project is an initiative to expand access to fresh, healthy food in Tampa’s food desert neighborhoods through education, agriculture, and walk/bike connections. The event’s title, “Making Stone Soup,” recalls a folktale about famine-struck villagers sharing one ingredient from each household to create a pot of good food none could have produced individually. To further inspire the meeting participants, MPO staff members Michele Ogilvie and Wanda West brought their own homemade contributions, carrot ginger soup, and muffins!
As in the folktale, the problem of access to fresh food is less insurmountable when many community members work together. The meeting’s participants represented agencies and civic groups that might not be in touch under other circumstances, and they spoke about opportunities for expanding connections, opportunities for other community gardens, and next steps.
Middleton High School staff announced their readiness to coordinate their planned school garden with the new garden on 22nd street. Representatives from Tampa Family Health Center, a medical facility on 22nd Street, were supportive and are eager to collaborate with the Garden Steps plan. Mrs. Ogilvie spoke about the vision of the garden’s educational mission and the Healthy Street concept. Green Artery attendees talked about establishing gardens along the proposed pathways. The entire group was excited about working together to make the community the healthiest city.
Mayor Castor presented a Proclamation declaring January 27 – February 2 Tampa Community Health Week, with an emphasis on Community Gardens and Health. Other community partners included Lutz Community Church, Meacham Urban Farm, Temple Terrace Community Garden, Sweetwater Organic Community Farm, Seffner Community Garden, Green Artery, Whitwam Organics, Hillsborough County Extension Office, Connect & Propel Tampa Bay, Senior Connection Center, Hillsborough Soil & Water Conservation District, the Florida Department of Health, and REAL Building Consultants.
Plans are underway for a 3rd Grow Gardens Conference on May 1-2, 2020. Contact Michele Ogilvie, ogilviem@plancom.org, or check back at PlanHillsborough.org for more information coming soon!
