Sustainability Symposium 2017: Ready for Anything

ICC is proud to be a sponsor of Green Builder Media's Sustainability Symposium 2017: Ready for Anything on January 9, 2017 at the Dr. Phillips Center for Performing Arts in downtown Orlando, a pioneering event that will bring together some of the nation’s top influencers to identify the threats posed by a changing climate, challenge conventional development and economic models, and explore intelligent solutions for a resilient future.

The Symposium is drawing today’s most forward-thinking building professionals, business leaders, city planners, sustainability advocates, elected officials, and national media.

>>>  BIG issues came up like getting mass-transit, trains, and more bikes. . .

HOWEVER, My Question,
If we build transit and rail here in Florida and reduce the roadways for people to walk and bike.
·      Who will employ all the gas station attendants, and mechanics in repair shops that lose work?
·      What will happen to the glut of No-Fault Insurance policies, emergency rooms and ambulance chasers who all rely on the hourly car accidents?
·      Half the industry here in Florida is addressing cars and accidents?
·      Where will all these jobs go?
·      What new income will replace these?
